Aware

All of the sudden
With no sign or warning
A realization
Disrupting, mid morning
Arrived with a chill
Though, otherwise, still
A stark and thick fog
The room would soon fill
Gasping for air
Filled her lungs with despair
From this point on
She was fully aware

That reminds me what my mom and Grandma used to say while not answering the phone... "good news always waits till noon". Potent penning! xomo
