Awakening

Last night
Light turned to dark
As the lids of my eyes
Secured my thoughts
Playing them as a
Movie within.
I felt touches
Soft caresses
As you gently
Wandered the
Contours of my skin.
In each dream we held
Onto each other with no
Intention of ever letting
Go. But, alas, the waking
Hours brought me back
To reality even though,
I wished the dreams
Would never cease,
In fact I am hoping
That they increase.
