Avoided Embrace
Always avoided, ignored and pushed to the side,
My heart once full, now empty inside.
The world moves on, but I am left behind,
A life unloved, my dreams confined.
Friends come and go, but I remain,
An outsider looking in, enduring the pain.
I long to belong, to be a part,
But every effort seems to fall apart.
The fear of rejection grips my soul,
Afraid to take risks, to lose control.
But life is short, and time won't wait,
Find my voice, stand up tall,
Embrace the world, give it my all.
The path may be hard, but it's worth the try,
For a life lived fully, and the chance to fly.
So I won’t be afraid to take a chance,
To dance in the rain, to run and prance.
I am worthy, I am enough,
Embrace my life, and its endless stuff.
It is all that it is a life with so much stuff
