Autumn's Vibrant Meadows
Autumn's Vibrant Meadow
Nothing compares to waking to a
meadow of many shades of greens
and browns full of vibrant magical
colors of autumn's flowers
A picture perfect scene of the
many that holds a serene feel
So infinite in the shades and hues I
glimpse out in awe of the chrysanthemums
of reds, oranges, and peaches
Saffron yellow crocus, golden sunflowers,
pansies from the warmest oranges to
scarlet reds flamboyant crotons
Purple and pink asters, the stunning
Dianthus reds and purples,
carnations a wide range of hues
of every color in the rainbow
None of these glorious colors
pale in the chill of the blushing morn
While each holds its own unique
sweet smell of warm spices,
autumn leaves, honey, tempting
every honey bee for miles
Together these scents float on the
morning breeze carrying
a carnival of fragrances
Nature truly has outdone herself
on autumn days like this
almost taking my breath
with its beauty
