Autumn Whispers

Autumn whispers
In the heat of late August
Tickling the corn stalks
Ruffling the fledgling’s feathers
Teasing the bear’s appetite
Caressing the coming harvest
Blowing a kiss to summer

Every line you've written foreshadows the near ending of Autumn. Love the last line, romantic that I am.
