Autumn Romance
A kiss, a breath, a touch of autumn breeze
I can’t see the trees as I gaze upon thee.
Longing for the spirit and love beyond
as harvest moon lights its millions of stars in its pond.
Early morning rendezvous like thieves
we sit together under the flirting leaves.
You smile, I laugh, as spring sprout knew
in your smile, colors are brighter because I love you.
Tease of golden leaves run with the tune of breeze
across the embrace of emerald green and pensive trees.
Cool and glorious rains that fall blissfully in amber sunrise
Thanksgiving to overflow to the glory beneath the skies.
