Autumn Mist
Sun glowing bright
the early morning mist
This ethereal light
is what I have wished
Soft crunch of frost
on an autumn leaf
Red and gold,
swirled and tossed
Soft misty light
Ethereal glow,
deep in autumn wood
The place I know
Red and gold,
swirled and tossed
upon white frost
The sun brightens,
golden glow
This autumn mist lightens,
a memory long ago
This moment I want to last
Soft misty autumn glow
This moment has passed
I have let it go
Red and gold..........
autumn leaves
Swirled and tossed
upon white frost
on this day I hold
This autumn wood
the place I know
I would go back if I could
To enjoy ethereal glow
This place I have missed
This place I have wished
Autumn light,
soft and bright
Red and gold leaves,
frost kissed
in misty white
