AUTUMN LEAVES

Fall
    leaves
foliage
on the lawn

the days shorten

out of depression's
   shadow

an Indian Summer
arrives
&calls

my heart
    revives

to survive

& face
      Winter's
long haul

I see your delightful work on the winners' list. I am so happy for you that it is there. Way to go. Sometimes, winters do have a long haul, but we know it will always come to an end. Congratulations. Sara

My heart revived in autumn and I love the way the colors wake me up don't you ? :)
