Autumn is near When nights on hours of the day do impinge When softer are the rays of the sunshine When greenish leaves start to pick orange tinge When tall lupines linger low, curl and pine When roses slowly start to shed petals When lovely lavenders languish in fear When cool air from grey clouds starts to settle When purple pansies begin to drip tears When birds flutter with less strength with reason, It`s time to hail the fall`s train which is near, Time to greet the coming Autumn season With its splash of red saffron hues so dear.

Following the advice of poetess Constance La France, I have removed the name of the website I had used for syllables check from the top of the poem and placed in in the poet`s notes. I seems the poem now appears on PS website. Grateful if you could confirm whether you can now view the poem. Thanks and regards. Krish

Reply to Mr/Ms Pacheccho "Date: 8/6/2025 12:02:00 PM Thank you dear poet for trying to explain the non placement of the above poem. For me this issue remains unresolved. In fact, prior to submission of the poem, I had checked on www.howmanysyllables.com>syllable_counter which gave 8 syllables for verse 6. I have checked again after reading your comments. It still TURNS OUT 8 SYLLABLES. On the other hand the syllable counter of Poetry Soup gives 10 syllables for line 6. In fact, www.howmanysyllables.com is internationally used and many sponsors of Poetry Soup contest request checking via this tool. So which is which? How can I look forward for rectification of the situation? An early response would be appreciated." Sorry to be bothering you.

Copy of Comments received from Mr./Ms.Connie Pacheccho "2 4 6 8 10 10 6 4 2 Krishnanand, I was rooting for you and your poem. I picked it as the top one. I was surprised it wasn't. But when I checked line#6, it should have 8 syllables. I hope this helps."

Thank you dear poetess for noticing that the poem does not appear on the screen of Poetry Soup. In fact, I posted this poem twice, but both times the same fate. Similarly another poem which I posted on the previous day "the Journey Within" for the contest of poetess Constance La France is suffering the same fate. This is occurring after finalisation of the contest for " Rolling with the Rs Poetry Contest " of Nette Onclaud.
