Autumn Has Begun

Fern shining in the sun
Wild purple aster blooming
Maple leaves tinted orange
Acorns rolling like marbles
Autumn has begun

Cool air is now blowing
Hummingbirds have left
Winter birds are climbing trees
Autumn has begun

Soon there will be pumpkins for sale
And the apple stand will return
Change will be seen all around
From color, temperature and activity
Autumn has begun
