Autumn Fire

Memories of Moses and the Burning Bush
jet into my mind,
as everywhere around me is filled with amber
of fallen leaves and canopies. It feels as though
I'm engulfed into a cold, still fire,
that smells of sandalwood, cider
and serenity....
