Great title for this monoku, David, and I love the rhyming. Pesky leaves. ;) :)

Autumn's leaves are so beautiful, but I don't get to see many of the changing of their colors down south. I have a remedy for that next year. You know how much I appreciate rhyming Monoku. Excellent write, David.

Thanks Lin, indeed you’re almost in the tropics, I do forget at times how the seasons only vary slightly all year round for you, we’ve a storm on the way tomorrow, so probably won’t be many leaves left on the trees by Friday, thanks so much for the kind comment, cheers David

I can appreciate this monuku - engaging and interesting despite billions of autumn poems. I'm sure it would have placed. Gold star from me :)

That’s good enough for me Dilly, perhaps it’s a nondescript way of describing autumn, disintegrating between summer and winter, cheers David

At first sight, a dour impression of autumn, but hey, those crumbling leaves will nourish the soil and feed next seasons canopy. It’s an I’ll wind……. Nicely done, David

You know, whatever it is that glues those leaves to tarmac or concrete should be used to stick aeroplanes together. They’d be indestructible! Hope you’re keeping well, too, David.

Good to hear from you Terry, I haven’t been around much lately, hope you’re keeping well, Yes an ill wind on the way this week, won’t be many leaves left when it blows through, except the ones in stasis on my driveway lol! Cheers David
