Autumn has tinged gold the sycamore leaves And turned crimson the sumac's soul Sweet gum's burgundy five-pointed star pleases Red the shade of maple's tri-fold Fall decorates the hardwood forest A reprieve before stripped bare in the cold When no longer songs from spring's chorist And crickets' love a thing now untold

Wonderful imagery Mrs Sara. I just love trees! The sycamore is a favorite of mine. I was raised listening to crickets, what a beautiful song they sing, but only if they are outside. I don't allow any cricket singing in the house:)
