Autumn By the Window
The day seemed so blurry,
the dwelling felt vacant and nonchalant
feeling an ocean of tears pent~up inside him
he stepped out to feel the blow of the open season
looking out through the window,
in the midst of the square laid a huge tree.
Impassioned from a distance,
the tree seemed lifeless
a sense of nostalgia overwhelmed him
as the leaves fell leaving it nude
But the streets were colourful
the sky was grey
he felt a tight string in his abdomen
attempting to relate, by adding an ingredient of
connection
the tree blew a whisper, autumn is here.
and to every whisper it blew, a leaf fell
Autumn is here, I seem pale and dry
this is a rebirth.
tomorrow winter will be here
I will have my clothes on, I will blossom again
Nature is receptive to change.
Understand the circle of life,
then you would have broken out of loneliness and isolation.
