Autumn

As the sun begins to fade

Under the gradual onset of winter,

Tapestries of rich colour are

Unveiled as the

Metamorphosis of Mother

Nature begins once more.

Nice acrostic - I studied with Anna Rabinowitz at the New School - She wrote a book called Darkling which is a long acrostic - never tried to write one but I admire your talent. Matthew Anish

I love Acrostics, especially when they successfully define the base of which word it is written from. I love your Autumn Miss Janette. James

Hi Janette Yes, this is such a inspiring, reflecting time of year. Your poem brings to mind such a lovely image. Right now I'm looking out my study window all I see is bronzy gold. I live in one of the most beautiful places in Alaska. We just got snow upon these majestic mountain peaks. Thanks for sharing it with us. I'll bet it's so pretty where you live too! Take care Love Light Truth Patricia
