Listen to poem:
August feels much like a hot, humid sauna,
Ushering in the dog days of Summer's end.
Gladiolus, little swords, sway in the breeze,
Under the mid-day heat of a blazing sun.
Summer’s leaves will soon start to flaunt Fall colors,
Transforming green into scarlet and orange.
