a gentle and lovely write, Sotto. The first verse spoke to me as you described the (palm?) tree as an angel. I think I won't ever look at trees in the same way now. They are truly as you said, 'morning's gift of pure delight' A beautiful Haiku. Have a pleasant day, Sara
