Attorney-Client Privilege
a.“so tell me. did you do it?”
c.“of course i did it. i wouldn’t be talking to you if i hadn’t.”
a.“well, that’s not necessarily true. you still could’ve been brought in as a possible
suspect---right now there is no reason that anyone would think that you did it, as opposed to any of the others they’ve got.”
c.”you’re saying i’d need representation no matter what, right?”
a.”i’m saying that if you didn’t do it, you would need someone to convince them of that fact, yes---besides yourself.”
c.”ah, what a wonderful country we live in.”
a.”it is what it is. some don’t allow you to prove your innocence, they just say you are guilty.”
c.”but i am guilty, if that’s how you want to phrase it.”
a.”well, how else would you phrase it? you either did it or you didn’t.”
c.”i would say that i committed a just act in a world of injustice.”
a.”o….k. well, as your attorney, i would advise you right now to keep from uttering
reasons for your acts to anyone but me.”
