At the End of the Rainbow
Below a bright cloud is where I'll find my rainbow's end
near the point where two lonely rivers meet at a bend.
My river waters are salty from all the tears I've spilled
and his river flows from past love that was unfulfilled.
Both of us are seeking to blend our waters in the deep.
Both searching for long lasting love, one worthy to keep.
Most rivers rush within their banks and empty into an ocean
but our rivers will interlace as one, flooded with devotion.
A greater prize than pot of gold, I will find in his adoring eyes,
and in mine he will see the blue to brighten his morning skies.
Just like the colors of a rainbow blend after stormy weather,
at my rainbow's end our waters and hearts will mingle together.
