At Such Time
At such time of discomfort
there’s God Who’s attentive to my qualms…
…presenting Himself as the best Listener---
all I need to do is cast to Him all my cares!
With despair enveloping me that uneasy moment
I’m in communion with God* Who is ready to soothe my pain…
...offering me His pardon and peace blessings---
all I have to do is yield to His welcoming embrace!
When on the altar I come during that divine meeting
I pray to God Who welcomes me with His sweet cheer…
…assuring my soul His unconditional love---
all I ought to do is trust His mercy.
As I cherish that event of wondrous bliss,
God uplifts me by His security...
…reminding me of His constant presence---
all I must do is thank Him while trusting His heart with my faith!
*2Corinthians 1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort.
