Ashes
Ashes to Ashes
Dust to Dust
Digging of ages in the deep crust...
Trying to find my buried remains.
Hurt, pain, scarred across this human face.
Of this raging Earth...
Flying in the solar winds of solitude
Apparitions flare blazing
across this Old Odd Orb
dust to dust
ashes to ashes
Barron Bone shown…
Sand to seas...
Winds to storm…
Flames to raging plains
A thought lays waste to imagery
Of fruitless nations pleas
Digging of ages in the deep crust...
Trying to find my buried remains.
Hurt, pain, burning across this human face.
Of this raging Earth...
dust to dust
ashes to ashes
Barron bone shown…
Sand to ragged seas...
Winds to winter storms…
Flying in the solar winds of solitude.
Hands wrapped in bloody tragedy
flown to distance shores
All now lost in empty rooms of symmetry
Only the memories dye first.
