As We Forgive Those Who Trespass Against Us
There once lived a servant sort of in a way like you and I
In bills he couldn't make a dent no matter how hard he'd try
He even owed the King and this was his greatest debt of all
A very worrisome thing and then he finally received that call
He had to repay it all or lose all his possessions and go to jail
On his knees he would fall, as before the king he did wail
The king having mercy forgave the debt in setting him free
So filled with glee for in his wildest dreams this he couldn't see
And going about his way he seen someone that owed him money
The amount so little to say that it would have been almost funny
As this servant too pleaded begging so not to be thrown in prison
His plea going unheeded in mercy for this debtor there'd be none
Yet the other servants had seen and went back to tell the king
How could he be so mean after going through the same thing
So the king called him back demanding his debt now be paid
If it is Mercy you lack you know not the waters that you wade
Luke 6:37
Judge not, and you will not be judged;
condemn not, and you will not be condemned;
forgive, and you will be forgiven;
