As True Witnesses
There are souls who are spiritually lost
Groping in sins’ darkness, wandering in worthlessness
As true witnesses against evil's voices, we lead them to God, the Saviour
With the light of His way, brightened by the Holy Spirit!
There are souls toward eternal damnation
Living in filthiness, in their transgression ... wallowing
As true witnesses against flatterer's voices, we warn them about eternal wrath
With the truth of the Gospel along godly compassion's earnestness!
There are souls stuck in hopelessness
Losing the will to survive, wavering helplessly
As true witnesses against hypocrites' voices, we direct them to prayer-ray
With the promises of God, tied around His kindness, mercy and hope!
There are souls drowned in misery
Fearing death, warring against sickness and pain
As true witnesses against doubts' voices, we bring them to the right faith
With the mercy of the Father, offering Heaven’s bliss!
There are souls guilty of unbelief and arrogance
Exalting themselves, wasting their resources in worldliness
As true witnesses against skeptics' voices, we pull them from torments of hell
With the wisdom of the Bible, anchored by Christ’s promise!
There are souls gripped by Satan’s game
Struggling in vices, wading in idolatry, indeed lamentable
As true witnesses against follies' voices, we rescue them against deception
With the power of the Saviour’s blood of freedom-might!
There are souls blinded by humanistic perspective
Losing sight of divine values and noble virtues
As true witnesses* against falsities' voices, we guide them to God’s plan
With the vision of the immutable kingdom upon His gracious love!
*Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me...
