AS TIME PASSES

AS TIME PASSES, I REMEMBER YOUR SMILE,
YOUR EYES HOW THEY WOULD LIGHT UP
WHEN YOU WERE HAPPY.
AS TIME PASSES, I REMEMBER
HOW HAPPY WE WERE
WHEN WE WERE FIRST IN LOVE.
YEARS HAVE PAST SINCE WE PARTED
BUT I STILL SEE YOU IN MY MIND
I STILL HEAR YOUR VOICE.
AS TIME PASSES NOTHING HAS CHANGED
YEARS HAVE PAST AND MY LIFE
HAS GONE ON WITHOUT YOU
AS TIME PASSES I CAN STILL
HEAR YOU SPEAKING TO ME EVEN THOUGH
YOU’RE NOT HERE.
AS TIME PASSES THOUGHTS FLOOD MY MIND
OF WHAT WE HAD, WHAT WE WERE,
AND WHAT WE COULD HAVE BEEN
AS TIME PASSES, I’VE LEARNED
WE WERE NOT MEANT TO
BE TOGETHER IN THIS LIFE
TO THIS DAY IT STILL BREAKS MY HEART
BECAUSE I STILL LOVE 
AND MISS YOU 
AS TIME PASSES
