As the sun set, a dare unfolds Black streaks tinged with orange and gold One lone swimmer jumps and fast falls In the dark abyss, maybe pall Dark sea waters, quickly enfolds Will he rise, or on death's threshold Never heaven's beauty behold Deeper into waters appall As the sun set Arise, oh, swimmer, break the mould Look to the sky its blue grab hold In the water, one dot so small All the angels can hear the wrawl Remember the view, a jump bold As the sun set Written: August 14, 2018 Picture # 3 the inspiration!

What a fantastic poem this is Sarah! We have a look-alike rock here at Waimea Bay that my children have jumped from. They are way more daring than me. I won't even jump in a swimming pool. Congratulations on your wonderful deserving first placement! : )

A beauty to this! My husband jumped off a too high cliff during stark daylight! This would be greatly intimidating! Lovely, Sara!

Sara, It was the only time I saw fear in his eyes. He read the brochure wrong. The jump was much higher but he did it twice. As we were leaving, I thought about how I could take a video, but my husband wisely said “better not chance it” LOL

Kim, I would not do that all by myself for I am not the adventurous type of person especially now. Thanks for stopping by. How did your husband do with his jump? Was he alright? Thanks for the visits to my page. Sara

Jo, Amazing how it was on the news this past week end how a girl was pushed into a river off a bridge by one of her supposed friends. She had five broken ribs, air bubbles in her chest, I think maybe she also broke maybe her arm and leg. It was lucky that people were there to save her. That picture reminded me of the incident Thanks for the visit to my page. Sara
