As Simple As ABC

If life was as easy as ABC
I’d see
To it I know my alphabet
But if I don’t get
It I’d turn to numeracy
And with accuracy
Memorize all but if I still fail
If I can’t nail
Either I’d have no choice but to learn
How to earn
My stripes in life
Which would make me come alive
