~ As We Walk ~
( Free Verse )
~O~
Within us, all is shown with kindness,
And hopes, to catch a little scent,
As memories, of home unfold;
And dusts, my lovely thoughts, with frost...
o~ O ~o
In icy pause, the winter's nights,
With choices, that sometimes, were so wrought,
Too many words, that went unsaid,
As I rush, through another day.
o~ O ~o
Before all we know, life had slipped away,
We whine, we moan, and cry, in so much pain;
A void so confused, to fill us all,
With ink of black, and white of snow.
~O~
