squeamish questions abound
about the art of love,
impressionistic and commonly given
to misinterpretations,
but with gall declared;
“my art has hung with grandeur in halls never”
“my art been the conversation of royalty,
haughtily, but fleeting once”
“my art has been declared in periodicals,
none”
“my art has nary been spoken of”
on your walls abound
the integrity and depth
of an artist’s vision
