Artist Poetry
I’m walking, just like Exodus and Alemba
And although am not Casting crowns, am walking as far as the ‘East is from the West’
So many thoughts on my mind, hope I have ’10,000 reasons’ for that, thanks to Matt Redman
‘Sweet symphony’ my mind cannot sing like Mark Arthur and Michell Bonilla
Truly ‘An Angel’ is what I need just like Astar said
Coz my mind is having a battle, and all my soul is doing is just having a ‘Battle cry’ like Ruyonga
‘Beautiful Beautiful’ Francesca Battistelli’s words my heart wishes it could borrow and sing
‘Cry out to Jesus’ Third Day tells me
So that you can be free to be you, ‘Free to be me’ like Francesca Battistelli put it
So like Brandon Heath Lord I ask that you ‘Give Me Your Eyes’
Give me your eyes and ‘Forgive Me’ like Group One Crew
‘I Get On My Knees’ like Jaci Velasquez, praying that you will forgive me
And that I will be able to ‘Look at what Love has done’
And jump ‘To the Ceiling’ like Isaac Blackman
With my mind made up that I will always and only listen to the ‘Voice of Truth’ like Casting Crowns
So am coming back home
Am coming back home coz Pastor Wilson Bugembe told me to when he said Komawo ‘eka
And thanks to Judith Babirye for reminding me that he’s my ‘Number One’
So now am gon put on my dancing shoes and join Daddy Owen in Randa Randa, Coupe de calle and just before sleep I will surely first join D.K and Jimmy in ‘Furi Furi dance.’
