This one reminds me of our grandmother who "Tatted". She created fine snowflake doilies just by tying knots. Thanks for the memory

My own mother used to tat lace collars for sweaters that she knitted, and there was truly nothing more exquisite. This brought back many lovely beautiful memories of gorgeous tattings and laces created by her. Arthritis has her fingers by the clutches now, and she knits baby afghans, and hats and mittens for children, to keep it at bay.
