Hmmm the art of gossip; what value does it merit! Very fascinating for some, useful for others, frustrating as well...and the victims?? Lots of points offered for thought, Nette. I wonder why women suddenly stop babbling when I enter the grocer's shop:) hugs // paul

Thanks for participating in the contest, Nette! I thought this was an interesting topic to write about ... fancy ladies and their gossip. I don't think people like that ever get fulfilled, because there always on the hunt for the next trail of rumors, in an endless cycle. They're so concerned with everyone else, yet knows very little about themselves.

Love this on, Nette:. Where are the days of garden parties? The closing line says so much in a so few words.I was too late to enter mine but thanks for visiting. Perhaps there will be a Grook 11. Love, SuZ

Their vitriol nature is revealed as it pours out from their painted lips. This is a thought provoking piece.

So spot on! It's alright to gab but so many do this as an occupation or out of habit. Astonishing poem filled with wisdom!
