Ariana the Bright
Ariana the faerie, brings light to the plants;
you may find her in your garden, implanting nutrients.
She draws down the sunlight, right into the ground;
The plants would not grow, without Ariana around.
This faerie of light, fears the darkness, you see;
there are many things lurking, among the old trees.
A hungry wild beast or an evil old troll;
faeries, you see, are not very bold.
They don’t like to be seen, they will try to hide;
from roaming eyes, of sneaky young spies.
Some children will see them, those kind of heart;
faeries will bless them, their beauty to impart.
If you, an adult, were to see her out there;
she’d quickly disappear, without any care.
Humans aren’t supposed to know that faeries exist;
It’s easier for them, to live their true bliss.
Ariana is covered, in great nutrients;
she channels them daily, right into the plants.
With wings like a butterfly, she goes, plant-to-plant;
stopping only, to pet the head, of the occasional ant.
If you were to see her, you’d probably blink;
for human logic, would have them, extinct.
There are things in this world, humans should never know;
but, those lights in your garden, are called, faerie-glow.
