Inside darkness soulful lady bellows
mournful music sweetly, soothing, nearer.
Human hearing treasures gently mellows
softly tearful rendering of cellos.
Somewhere midnight, final curtain's falling.
Closing drama's always tragic hopeless.
Actress singing, crying, voicing calling,
"Lover comeback. Deathbed awaits songstress."
Solo echoes aria of darkness.
