Are You Proud
Are you proud of what you did?
Adding another blow?
You brought back a shattered past I long to escape.
I bet you didn't even know.
What you did was a violation..any innocence I fought to get back is gone.
All progress surely vanished, and yet you chose to carry on.
Once wasn't enough. I have never met you before this in all my life.
You kept coming back uninvited, making my fear something that ran rife.
Once again I was made afraid and unsafe, scared to be in my own home.
I keep searching for some peace..
Sadly, I believe my pain will always stay with me... forever etched in stone.
