Yayyy! Thanks :) I was just telling Clara if only you were here! I could invite you to my class to give a talk about poetry writing. It doesn't come naturally to me and I am finding it to be quite a challenge having to inspire a class of grade 4 kids :/

Dear Mel: Just a simple advice here: Follow your heart. What works at your gut feeling will tell you that you're on the right track. Tell your kids that poetry comes from feeling what you're feeling. Words are merely the expression medium. Poetry without words is music. Poetry without sound is art work. Poetry in solid form is sculpture or architecture. Poetry beyond thought or feeling is insight. Poetry is a fusion of the sensorial experience, and exists as part art and part science. Feeling beyond knowing is the highest poetry that inspires all art forms. That's my understanding of the Muse. All the best then, Leon.
