Appetite For Light

The light It peeks through The Venetian blinds As I rise to greet the day It pokes As if to say “Hey you, get up!” With it said, I do This sunlight It’s a gift from Heaven itself Bestowed unto us Ironically it appears Pretty much the same time Each day, as God opens His Refrigerator to get a bite to eat
