Aphrodite of Orchid Sunset

When lotus d u s k s are sequined with a gown of glittery s t a r s , shying in a salsa of d r e a m e r s, our L u n a smiles like a bronze coin, resting upon butterscotch bed of p e a r l y petals, and flurrying across the humble e l i x i r of strawberry h o r i z o n s. I encase my soul, within sanguine sepals of nectarine embrace, softly swinging upon stardust lips of the Sunset Queen, as she sows seeds of selene orchids ~ breathing in ice pink warmth and draping my esoteric eyelids, with a cloak of gold. Floating on the cherry crest, as peach moonrise kisses the apple-skinned glow of sleeping sun, I gaze at the drizzling tears of weary souls, singing in ashes, for, their peace rides on seahorses, drifting above the dazzle of peacock blue tides, and silently dancing upon the sighs of sea-angels. Life escapes the quartz orchards and surfs upon plush citylights, trailing a bridge of buttercups to the hibiscus haven, as apricot blossoms unfurl a rosy princess exhaling purple embers, before the spirits of forsaken 'savoir vivre'. There'll be a frozen breeze, when moments shall evermore adhere wings of vanilla healing and the shorelines will pay homage to the sailors of time, draped in daisy robes, surfing beyond the waves of life ~ where pirates will no longer pirouette midst milky-marine sheaths of ambrosial shorelines, nurtured within the homeland of hazelnut heart. " Au Revoir, to the forlorn spirit, as eden be your home, beyond 'bon voyage' of velvet goodbyes, " weaved with walnut threads of abstract phrases, as I float like an amber prayer, upon lemonade tulips bathed in silken sunshine, when footprints of dew twirl like tuscan snowdrops on april-swing of florals, unfurling peace ~ and the golden Aphrodite within my heart, echoes in a jeweled smile, breathing in clusters of magick. I'll keep yearning for the last serenade of gossamer truths, stretched on the harbor of afterlife. "Evening will f l y , as a diamond dove, above rouge r e a l m s and p l u m paints of watercolor w i s t e r i a, shall trace the portraits of s a c r i f i c e and surrender, in a million shades of a l c h e m y... "

The fall of dusk and the appearance of the moon and stars in the sky are so beautifully painted in your inimitable style. The blend of colors of a dozen flowers shows how beautiful the twilight sky has been. Sadly, the comprehensive comment I wrote earlier for this poem couldn't be sent as my computer went very slow due to some technical glitch. Unique and so very impressive.

Hiya, the infusion of color and images requires an examination of each and every one. It takes time to think about what you put together. My brother-in-law just died last night after a short illness and I am thinking how your work is a tribute to all who sunset from this world. It is so fitting and beautiful. The words are so kind and fitting that it eases the pain. You have such a kind way of looking at things.

Dear Hiya, your poem takes the reader on a mesmerizing voyage through twilight realms, where the sky becomes a canvas adorned with sequined lotus dusk and shimmering stars. The personification of Luna, smiling like a bronze coin upon a bed of pearly petals, lends a celestial grace to the scene, while the Sunset Queen bestows her enchanting embrace upon the narrator's soul.

A painting in artistic brushstrokes, on a splendorous canvas, Hiya. Opening stanza dazzles in ornate diction --our L u n a smiles like a bronze coin, sleeping upon butterscotch bed-- and it takes the reader on a poetic journey: -- Floating on the cherry crest, as peach moonrise kisses the apple-skinned glow of sleeping sun,---Life escapes the quartz orchards and surfs upon plush city lights, --walnut threads of abstract phrases, as I float like an amber prayer,--
