~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
To the tune of light, I feel the beauty, my soul’s delight, falling beneath the sweetest sight… peace that survives the dark night, love that continues to abide inside the one who simply believes - by poet
Rain, sprinkling rhythms, songs fading
Beyond the memories, the soul
Where grief invites the music to hearken,
A haven of hope, glistening, gold
Stardust and sunrise, sacrificing the dreams,
Where evenings fade to twilight
And reassures there is a place
A place of light – a place of joy – a place I know
Where melancholy feels like a shadow
While the melodies, rich as sapphires
Reach beneath the heavy dark, penetrating
Each whisper with a gentle
Painted in laughter and remembering…
Oh, sweetest memories
Snow, falling gently, lulling my spirit
Restoring my hope, my feelings
Whimsical threads of a new dawn
Erasing the night’s heavy lonesome,
Dewlike moments in trembling white
Edged in frost woven thoughts,
Blessings so potent they feel the last chance
Blowing on the wind’s breath
Hastening to remain silent as the moment
Before the aching flakes dance to the earth,
Biting the nose with wet kisses,
Dimpled colors of sentimental…
Oh, sweetest moments
Bitter seeps through, anywhere but here
Where the light has struck the soul
With glistening insights, amazing gestures
Faith and hope and love that stirs
Kindness, expressions of what it means to smile,
Impressions of the One who teaches the world
Blessings, naked to the sounds of shame,
Revealing all the lingering dreams,
Poetry in motion, rhythms of grace
Falling past the shattered memories, the shadows
Faded into a wistful rhyme, tortured by time
Alive as the light who seeps through the trees,
Inspiring you and me…
Oh, sweetest dreams
Blessing those who simply believe
Believe and see… love beyond the seas,
Love that is alive, breathing out pure light
Delighting the fires of stardust rising
Moving the soul to feel what it knows to be
Intimacy with the Creator of peace…
Oh, sweetest joy
Come to destroy fear
Come to shelter, so sincere
Come to live where I can feel
The love that lives because God is here
Oh, sweetest light, falling so clear,
It is here, - in the silence of a fallen tear,
Whispering peace, and love and gentleness
Reminding my heart that God’s love will never leave,
God will always be here, alive and trustworthy,
Teaching my heart to have faith in the everlasting…
Oh, sweetest grace
I feel you in His embrace.
And, so I praise – praise – praise
The One who God raised – Oh, I’m so amazed!
