Answers
Why am I what I am?
Often I have wondered this,
Life has a way of making you look at yourself and ask the questions you may not want the answers to.
More often than not by the time the questions are asked...
it's too late.
The answers are always exactly what you knew they would be,
they were there all along.
The problem is that you don't want to know the answers because then you have to change who you are to deal with the things you don't want to deal with.
So by ignoring them you may fool one's self into a false sense of well-being, while all along you are rotting inside.
Now that I have asked the questions,
I have begun to realize that if I would have dealt with them a long time ago the people around me wouldn't have had to pay the price for my selfish arrogance.
I still have a long way to go,
but now that I have begun to ask the questions,
the answers don't hurt as bad as I thought they would.
In the end,
Deep inside,
the answers to the questions are the very thing that will heal and save your life,
and the people around you.
In the end you have always known that the people you love are the answer to the questions.
They are the ones that will save you.
They are the healing answers.
