The morning finds me alone...
the nighttime seems to last forever

The author uses heartbreaking imagery and maintains a melodic, poetic flow through the whole piece. I was saddened reading this poem, it rings true and real, for I feel the pain in the words, and it hurts my heart dear friend, Emile.
