Another Christmas Toast

Forgive me once this Yuletide whim
           With Champagne bubbling to the brim
On wanting to find Mistletoe 
                      To steal a kiss from one I know

Traditions of an Egg Nog taste
                       Without a minute yet to waste
Are wrapped for every Fruitcake find
                 To cheer the hearts of all mankind

Such sentiment in red and green
              To bless this joyous Christmas Scene
Is what I seem to love the most
                  So here’s another Christmas toast

To one and all with love to spare
                 May this day find you without care
And full of laughter, hope and light
                  To shine forever through the night

Judy Ball December 19, 2023 at 8:15 PM Oh Mike I do love this. Two of my favorite Christmas treat are warm egg nog and fruitcake. I like to take 2/3 cup eggnog add 1/3 cup milk to thin it just a bit and warm it in the microwave. Then I put cinnamon on top instead of nutmeg.
