Another Chanukah, Another Year

The ghost of Chanukah past Yes, Chanukah past with candles burning, candles burning In battle with deadly foes Our people continue to exist The ghost of Chanukah past haunts me Remembering tales of revolutions and murderers The ghost of Chanukah past The ghosts of New York, Russia, and Jerusalem haunt me So I send out this ode to you, friends In the hope we can take some solace from watching candles burn candles burn candles burn
