Anniversary of the Fall of the Wall
President Reagan's dulcet tones breathed fire and brimstone
"Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall," demanded he, histrionically
When the wall did us all a favor, complying, falling of its own accord
Thirty years removed, the once impenetrable barrier now a mirage
"Mr. Gorbachev, tear down that wall," demanded he, histrionically
Reagan's mighty sally blazing forth in nonverbal bolts, retinal lightning
Thirty years removed, the once impenetrable barrier now a mirage
Fateful pivot of epic proportions, to the acclaim of humanity's huzzahs
Reagan's mighty sally blazing forth in nonverbal bolts, retinal lightning
The allure of his charm, his sparkling wit, swept to the side by a lion's roar
Fateful pivot of epic proportions, to the acclaim of humanity's huzzahs
No delicate balance here: Victory the lone option; no consolation award
The allure of his charm, his sparkling wit, swept to the side by a lion's roar
When the wall did us all a favor, comiplying, falling of its own accord
No delicate balance here: Victory the lone option; no consolation award
President Reagan's dulcet tones breathed fire and brimstone...
