Annie Our Golden

Annie, our Golden, is a member of the family Just like a daughter, it's really uncanny After going out upon our return Our love's enthusiastically reaffirmed Her excitement explodes, our dearest sweet Annie © Jack Ellison 2015

Love golden retrievers, so loyal and sweet! I had a best buddy when I was a child, named Samantha. This is a lovely poem for a dear member of the family. Pets always put a smile on the face. Always, Laura

Yes, Jack, they're very affectionate. On the sight of the lead being brought out for a walk, I'm surprised there's any intact ornaments left in your home after the whirlwind of excitement and anticipation. Being a cat owner, I just get the glance upwards from the door that means "er, yes?". Great verse, Jack. Regards, Viv

Oh, forgot to mention, we have 2 cats as well! All 3 get along famously! The 2 cats are as far apart personality-wise as can be but both loveable! Pets can bring so much joy into our lives!!!
