ANN-I-HAPPY
(For my wife Ann)

We come again
To live most plain
Our human strain
In joyful strains.
Love has a way
To show us how
To live each day
Right here and now.
Joy wears a face
In time and space
In your sweet gaze
And fond embrace.
Health brings fond light
As blessings right
Move our fine sights
In lovely flight.
Wealth is a hymn
Of wit and whim
As style moves theme
Of happy dreams.
Faith holds the key
To be set free
Just you and me
To simply be.
Hope is the rain
That clears the vain
And bears the pain
Where soul speaks plain.
On this swift quest
We sync our best
In play and fest
Work-in-progress.
Ann-I-Happy
As I can be
Just you and me
Fond company.
Right from the start
Now heart to heart
Love sculpts fond art
In fragrant parts.
