Angels Watch Over Us
You’ve always been my soulmate my best friend my lover
My heart races blissfully at the sound of your name
Your smile your laugh your joy resonate in my soul
I love to be by your side through our lifetime
Who knows how much more time we will be given
How can our span together possibly ever be long enough
Each day is precious and savored in nibbles and bites
I can’t fall asleep without holding you in my arms
The angels have been watching over us in our dreams
I could never imagine my life without you in it
