Angels Sometimes Smile

" I heard an angel speak last night and he said "write"
Elizabeth Barrett Browning

Write what your heart desires
As I face the angel before me
My life fast forwards and rewinds
Many questions left unanswered

Angelic faces etched in stone
Welcoming lost souls forever home
To where the light shines for eternity
An ending to their restless roaming

Reminders of once was
Of what there is to come
Faith and love surrounding
Angels in cemeteries sometimes smile
