Best Lossangel Poems

Precious Angel

Precious angel spread your wings and fly,
soar high above in the clear blue sky.

It was so unfair we didn't get the chance to see,
the precious angel that you would be.

Lay yourself down and have a good rest,
we all think that maybe it really was for the best.

If we could have only had the chance to meet,
and see our precious angel from your head to your tiny feet.

Always know that we will be thinking of you,
and we all know your thinking of us to.

I'm sure we will always question why,
but for now all we can say is goodbye.

Angels Sometimes Smile

" I heard an angel speak last night and he said "write"
Elizabeth Barrett Browning

Write what your heart desires
As I face the angel before me
My life fast forwards and rewinds
Many questions left unanswered

Angelic faces etched in stone
Welcoming lost souls forever home
To where the light shines for eternity
An ending to their restless roaming

Reminders of once was
Of what there is to come
Faith and love surrounding
Angels in cemeteries sometimes smile

Angels

the way i see you smile
i put inside my head file
the look in your eyes
the beauty shows from deep inside
my mind is racing and
i cant stop pacing
i cant understand, i'm frightened
i'm tence and my jaw i tighten
the angel i knew, the lord has taken
my heart is aching.
the anger, the hate and the love
how can this feeling be understood
not even by the lord above
he took her our beautiful dove
angles like mine are pure in love
her mission completed, to her home she flies
watching and caring for thouse left behind
my angel is in heaven, with teared eyes i sigh
im glad i got to meet her on earth
for when i get to heaven
her face and presence will be well worth
angels in heaven were taken from earth
they come for a while to teach us to love
so when they have completed their
mission, the lord gives them their wings
so they can watch the miricle of love that through her
will forever go on..
