Angels Danced

Angels looked over him as he was born in Halifax on a rainy Monday. It was the first of May in 1950. No one is around to remember the time of day or night, only that it was spring and a time filled with confident hope as he was destined for great things. What they didn’t know was how this tiny baby would come to touch so many lives before suddenly being called back home. How unexpectedly the angels would escort him back to heaven but not before altering the world around him. itty bitty babe a destiny to fulfill god’s plan uncharted

This is a lovely haibun, Line. Every life, whether short or long, is destined to leave a mark, directly or indirectly. I wonder who that baby was! ~ Regards // paul

Such a FAV for me. Touching for me. I lost an infant brother in 1962, Changed our lives and my heart still aches for him fifty seven years later. Thank you for this poem. <3

Thank you for your lovely visit and comment, Arturo. It's too tempting - I'm gonna keep you in the dark on this one and just leave you guessing on the mystery man.
