Angel Unemployed
He sat on the floor
He was tired of the struggle
The toiling
The hustle
He needed a change
But did nothing but sulk
This had gone on for so long
He felt so alone
Unwilling to tell
Unwilling to ask
He just sat there… feeling discouraged
His angel sat there with him
Unemployed and fat
He was waiting
Waiting for his own to make a move
Speak the Word
Give him a task
But he got none
So he just sat there with him
Chewing on muffins
Humming a hymn
